Apparently, tax filing season for marriages is similar to the common angst of being poked by needles and giving blood. In an article, “How to Recover from 10 Common Tax Day Mistakes,” tax day was rated “the second most stressful day of the year in 2011.”  How was filing taxes on your marriage?

Well, the world of social media has been… um… interesting the past couple of days.

In reading all the posts, blogs and tweets, I’ve been angered, sad and proud. But most of all I’m resolved.

Resolved that love conquers. It suffers long, it keeps no record of wrong, it is patient and it is not rude.

And while I do not demonstrate perfect love, I want to keep true love as the standard for my life, for my response, and for my actions moving forward, because anything less is just a mess.
